Sophie Helg

Hi! I'm Sophie. You may know me as a fast Canadian speed puzzler, but did you know that:

• I can fluently speak German, French and English since a young age, though French is my main language.

• I started speed puzzling in 2023, at a time when I needed some change, and found purpose through it.

• Before speed puzzling, I used to do around 2-3 puzzles a year. Now I do 2-3 puzzles a week and it's still not enough.

• I work as a drafter for a structural engineering firm and view the drawings I do as completing a puzzle.

• One of my favorite puzzle brand is Art & Fable, for it's images that are so different from other brands.

• When I'm not puzzling, you can find me gardening or watching tv reality shows / k-dramas.

• Some of the hobbies I had before speedpuzzling include: Reading horror books, reading manga / watching anime, sewing costumes, cooking / baking, pottery.

• I used to do puzzle competitions to try to win. Now I go to competitions to meet my friends!
