Lizabeth Stanley
I remember puzzling as a tiny baby, but even then I felt that fitting shapes into holes was a bit too easy, so I didn't keep up with it. I now know I should have, and I blame the adults in my life for not pushing me to elite levels. Thanks, mom.
Previous to picking up speed puzzling in late 2023 I would do a few puzzles here and there, but never seriously and always without the box (that's cheating). I've been steadily improving my times and have a goal to be ranked around 50% by the next WJPF Championship. Fingers crossed they move it to December so I have more time to practice!
When I'm not puzzling over a jigsaw I'm puzzling over biological processes and grad school applications. When I have a lot of free time I'll also read great works of fiction, but I have to be very careful because I can't be trusted to stop if I have any other obligations, like sleep.
